The NFL regular season is finally here! And tonight we’re graced with a premier matchup. The New Orleans Saints are traveling to Indianapolis to face the defending Superbowl champion Colts. What a game to kick off the NFL season. Now, if only there isn’t an awful NFL kickoff pregame concert with Beyonce or some other cracked out singer like Britney Spears.

I’m ready for some football dammit. I’m ready for bone crushing, helmet to helmet sounds. I’m ready to see sweat dripping off Mannings face in High Def. I’m ready to sit in frnot of a TV with a laptop so I can keep tabs of my fantasy players at all time (I’ve got Colston going tonight). Thank the Lord that all these moments I’ve been waiting for are finally here tonight.

All signs point to tonight’s game being a high scoring affair. Indy’s defense couldn’t stop my high school’s running back, let alone the two headed beast of Duece and Bush. With that said, Indy doesn’t need defense to win games. They have Peyton Manning, the QB that can put together a scoring drive in under 1 minute on a regular basis.

Prediction for the game? As much as I want the Colts to lose…they just won’t do it at home on opening night. Colts win 34-24.
